Doop is responsible for the processing described here. Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through our contact form.

- safety and integrity signals used to detect fraud, abuse, duplicate participation, or prohibited activity.
Payment credentials are normally collected and processed by payment or withdrawal providers. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in public content, messages, work, or proof submissions.
Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you, automatically from your device and use of Doop, from other users involved in an interaction, transaction, or report, and from service providers such as sign-in, payment, identity, analytics, security, or communication partners.
We may also receive lawfully available information from public sources or authorities when needed for compliance, fraud prevention, or the protection of users.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide accounts, profiles, Feed, Watch, messaging, and live features;
- operate Square, Expert Profiles, Showcase, work, proof, and rewards;
- maintain balances, payments, withdrawals, and records;
- deliver and measure advertising campaigns, attribute qualifying activity, determine creator and participant reward eligibility, and calculate or settle applicable amounts;
- verify activity, prevent fraud, enforce policies, and keep Doop safe;
- respond to support, reports, disputes, and legal requests;
- measure, troubleshoot, and improve the service; and
- send service messages and, where permitted, marketing you can opt out of.
Automated checks and campaign decisions
Doop may use automated rules, models, and signals to match supported campaigns, measure delivery, detect duplicate or invalid activity, assess reward eligibility, protect accounts, and prioritise safety or fraud review. These checks may consider account, campaign, content, device, network, timing, location, playback, attribution, and interaction signals.
An automated check may prevent delivery, exclude activity, place an amount on hold, or refer a decision for further review. Where required by applicable law or supported by the relevant product flow, you may request review or provide additional context through support. We do not promise that every decision will qualify for manual review.
Why we can process information
Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing Doop, protection of people and the service, and consent where consent is required.
Our legitimate interests include preventing abuse, improving the product, communicating about the service, and protecting legal rights. We consider the likely impact on you before relying on those interests. You can withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
International processing
Doop and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for these transfers and take steps to require appropriate protection from service providers.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to provide your account, support content and conversations, complete work and transactions, maintain financial records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Retention varies by data type and may depend on account status, transaction, campaign, attribution, reward, or dispute history, legal limitation periods, safety and fraud risk, provider requirements, and regulatory obligations. Content and messages may remain while an account is active; campaign and financial records may be kept longer where needed to settle amounts, handle disputes, prevent repeat abuse, or satisfy accounting, tax, or legal duties. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless lawful retention is required.
How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed for the nature of the information and the risks involved. These may include access controls, encryption, monitoring, secure development practices, provider reviews, and incident procedures.
No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your sign-in method, avoid placing private information in public content or work fields, and contact us if you suspect unauthorised account activity.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct it, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing or direct marketing, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy, or complain to a data protection authority.
Submit requests through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law or a valid operational need permits. If Ghana law applies, you may also contact the Ghana Data Protection Commission at dpc.gov.gh.
You can permanently delete your account in Doop from Account, Edit profile, Delete account. We remove or de-identify profile information and published content, while retaining limited transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legal records where required.
Children
Doop is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the service, providers, or law changes. The effective date shows when the latest version applies. We will give additional notice when a change materially affects your rights or is otherwise required.
Questions, concerns, and rights requests can be submitted through our contact form.
